A: One thing I like for any entrepreneur, not just a new entrepreneur, is a business that does not require a huge amount of risk. Oh sure, I know, risk is a part of the game, a big part, but great entrepreneurs take smart, calculated risks if and when possible.
That said, there is no sure-fire thing. If there were, we would all be doing it. But there are ways to be smart and reduce the risk. That's the ticket.
Not far from my office are some cool, old warehouses. They are on the edge of a nice part of town and are ripe for regentrification. I'm not the only one to notice this. One local businessman decided to open up a Whole Foods type store in one of them, full of local produce and goodies. Word is, he spent over $1 million building-out the place.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By Rich Duprey]
Companies have been experimenting for some time with using their label for further imprinting their brand on our brains. H.J. Heinz (NYSE: HNZ ) offers up personalized ketchup bottles, but they're more of a limited-run novelty. It also more broadly offers other labels with witty or pithy sayings on them, more reminiscent of Dr. Pepper Snapple Group's fun facts found under their bottle caps than something that would allow a person to identify with a product.

Furthermore, the court's finding does not undermine the use of the ATS in cases of human rights abuses. It just requires a stronger connection to the United States. That means that other ATS cases currently working their way through the legal system, such as Earth Rights International's case against Chiquita (NYSE: CQB ) for allegedly funding and arming Colombian terrorists, are still on track. That also means that the link from human rights violations to corporate liability remains.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By Jim Jubak]
If you're a trader, you try to catch these ups and downs. If you're a longer term trader, you sort of go with Japanese equities. The one that I've got in Jubak's Picks is Toyota Motor, (TM), which trades in New York as an ADR. You can also go with something like Torre Industries (TRYIF), which trades as an ADR in New York as well as on the Tokyo exchange. They're the world's largest maker of carbon fiber, good play on exports to the aircraft and car industries. Or you can do something like Seven & I (SVNDY), the Japanese company that owns 7-Elevens around the world. So, those would be my ways to play a weak yen if you want to use Japanese equities for the week and the year ahead.

Hypermarkets -- big box stores that combine supermarkets and department stores -- first opened up in China's largest cities over a decade ago. And it's no wonder companies such as Wal-Mart have been keen to get a slice of the market.
